Still alive and well.
Depends on how you look at it.
I was employed all Winter which hasn't happened in a while.
The job was quite an experience , which I haven't even looked at all the video files I recorded yet.
But back around here, it's been a cold and wet "Spring" here in Idaho.
The cold nights have kept the snowpaks from melting, as you see in this video I did Yesterday.
Last year, I had the road cleared and could make it all the way up to Boulder Basin by this time. Only a couple of trees down this year, but the road was snow blocked, ( as far as I dare go ), as the tires on the ATV are great on all those sharp rocks, but worthless in snow.
All I took was a chainsaw and the Gopro. no drone or tablet w maps and gps.
The scenery is as ever, awesome, the thoughts about the people who lived and worked here and the feat of hauling machinery and supplies up this canyon let alone doing it without the niceties of rubber , in shoes and shock absorbing devices as this road is new, and traffic went up the bottom of the canyon much of the way
A couple weeks ago, I found myself on the other side of the ridge of this place.
A few miles from Boulder Basin and about 10 miles from my place.
But to get back around in a vehicle was 129 miles.
( of awesome scenery )
