A short period followed by "Dang, it's hot" At 6000 feet+, the sun get intense, and then "sucking shade" is the norm. Thunderstorms will form around noon, with rain, hail, and lightning. And of course, fires.
We have had one fire already, up by Redfish Lake.
I came over the hill the next morning expecting to find a valley of smoke, but the fire had been suppressed and blue skies prevailed. :C)
Otherwise, back up a creek with this side project going on.
