     The "Great" American      Eclipse

    August 21st, 2017
   The "Great" American Eclipse.
The center cutting through Idaho not far from where I am located.
A dirt road out of Sun Valley heads to the Lost River Valley where the "town" of Chilly sits under
the Lost River Range, with Mount Borah overlooking, the highest point in Idaho.
The river gets "lost", because it disappears into the lava fields near Craters of the Moon, and comes
out of the cliff walls carved out by the Snake River at the Thousand Springs State Park,
many miles away.

Multitudes of people showed up, but nowhere near the 100,000 visitors speculated for our area.
Want to buy a thousand Eclipse T-shirts, cheap ?
Unfortunately smoke from a wildfire in Montana settled in the valley, making visibility very poor.
It lasted for just over a minute.
Still, all in all, it was an experience.

The video tells all.
I was only able to upload a poor quality version of the video I made because of the 1 gig restrictions
on my website.  A HD version of the video is 1.8 Gigs.
I will see if  I can better that, but at the
moment, this 400 Mb will work.
